BPA was hired to design a new municipal building for the Town of Priceville AL to be located in the Wheeler Center directly off Interstate 65.  The program called for a facility that would serve as courthouse, council chambers, public meeting space, town jail, and storm shelter plus space to accommodate the mayor, his staff, and all other municipal administrative offices.  The design of this 16,000 square foot facility is fairly modern, although the clock tower at the front entrance lends a bit of tradition.  A large bowed window on the back side of the building, which is highly visible from I65, was included to create a dramatic effect at night when the court or council are in session.
