In an effort to attract new industry to the area, The Guntersville Industrial Development Board hired BPA to assist them in developing 450 acres located on two non-adjacent tracts of land surrounding TVA property on Lake Guntersville.  The services included master planning, economic feasibility studies, drafting of covenants and restrictions, development of architectural guidelines, and facilitating the submittal and approval process with TVA.  The master plan provides sites for industrial facilities and also for non-industrial, commercial facilities. The master plan also incorporates a public walking and bike trail system that takes advantage of the natural topography and beauty of the area while respecting TVA mandated uses of recreation, natural protection, and wildlife preservation.
