White Oaks

 

White Oaks is a new residential development in Auburn,  AL.  The master plan was designed by Birmingham-based landscape architects, Nim Long and Associates.  The first phase includes the Village at White Oaks, a high–density area adjacent to the man–made lake at the entrance to the development.  The Village consists of small, zero-lot–line lots for single family houses.    BPA was brought on board to assist with planning and to design the houses for The Village.  Based on the developers desire to create a place with European charm and character, BPA designed the 23 “cottages,” ranging from 1700 to 3000 square feet, with a French Country and Tudor flare.   Impeccable attention to scale and proportion and proper architectural detail will create a beginning which will set the tone for the architectural style and feel for the community as a whole.  In addition, BPA assisted with the development of the Lot Code and Architectural Covenants and Restrictions.
