Historic Renovations

In the early nineties, Bill Peters began working on an historic residential design project with a renovation to a house built in 1912. Word of mouth from that project opened for the firm a new realm of practice in historic preservation and renovation. Since that time, BPA has designed renovations for more than a hundred historic houses in Huntsville's Twickenham and Old Town Districts, the Old Town and New Albany districts in Decatur, downtown Athens, downtown Florence, and historic New Market among others.

Our success in this area of practice is due to our attention to detail and extensive knowledge of historic architecture gained through personal study and extensive travel.
